Despite coming up short in the most recent NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Steph Curry managed to be crowned the NBA’s Most Valuable player for two consecutive seasons, 2015 and 2016 to be specific. As a result of his success, Under Armour has crowned the shooter with his own signature line since signing him back in 2013. Using Curry’s first two signature silhouettes within the pack, the “Back 2 Back MVP” pack sees the models don a trophy-like aesthetic with gold, black and white coloring throughout. The limited edition duo will also include details such as MVP branding, as well as nods to Curry’s favorite bible verse, which includes the phrase “I Can Do All Things.”
Originally slated for a release earlier this summer (after pre-orders disappeared in a flash), the Under Armour “Back 2 Back MVP” pack will officially release on August 10 for a retail price of $400 USD( approximating R5357 ZAR) at select retailers such as Sneaker Politics.
