London-based brand YMC has partnered up with Kinfolk to open up a pop-up shop in Brooklyn. The temporary locale on Wythe Avenue will include both men and women’s contemporary designs, ranging from prices between $70 to $400 USD. Creative Director Jay Perie mentioned that this is the first time Kinfolk will be including a womenswear collection in its store. YMC’s founder Jimmy Collins told WWD, “Maybe in the future we’d like to have a store in New York, but at the moment we are just taking small steps. From a distribution point of view, Kinfolk is very important to us, so this made sense.” While this is the first time YMC has sold its wares in NYC, they have teamed up with independent retailers in Los Angeles and Seattle for similar interim events in the past. Take a look at YMC’s latest lookbook and head over to the pop-up space which will be open until Oct. 5.
