Alessandro Michele made a surprising admission when Gucci’s Fall/Winter 2016 collection debuted – in an unprecedented move it was revealed GucciGhost was behind the graphics splayed all over the garments.
Last season Michele told WWD:
“I saw the way Trevor was using the symbol of the company and I thought it was quite genius. It’s completely different from the idea of copying. It’s the idea that you try to take to the street, through language like graffiti, the symbols of the company.”
The New York-based street artist’s signature double-G logo got a new canvas upon Michele’s boho aesthetic. The collection with GucciGhost’s touch is now available to shop in select retailers including colette. See the selection above.
