The notion that ladies own menswear-inspired fashion certainly rings true in our “Girls in Supreme” editorial for Summer 2016.
Styled by Nayaab Tania, the editorial adopts yet another trend: commingling of the once disparate realms of streetwear and high fashion. In this case, we examine how Supreme has crept its way into the fashion mainstream, no longer dismissed as a withdrawn label accessible only to those in the know.
Tania mixes staple cuts with oversized proportions and makes reference to ’90s hip-hop style, creating an editorial that dissolves the stereotypes surrounding both dress and gender.
