All it took was a quick preview tweet on March 17 to explode the streets of NYC with Kanye West fans and devotees dying to get their hands on the most recent gear for West’s latest album The Life of Pablo. Originally only available at the YEEZY Season 3 fashion show, the merch — consisting of tees, hoodies, hats, beanies, outerwear and more — being available for the second time exclusively at a pop-up store in downtown SoHo NYC brought out the diehard KW fans. Within the uncountable amount of people was some of the greatest in gear, sickest of styles and largest windows of opportunity to get noticed; MTV was present to report upon the event, as was WPIX and various media outlets. Once inside, the staff helped with the best of their ability to maintain order in the hectic nature of the rather spacious store, but nevertheless there was tension both outside and in.
