Yesterday evening a large swathe of New York City’s 25 and under demographic were feeling Pablo fever. That is, the line for Kanye West’s TLOP merchandise pop-up started to form at approximately 7 p.m. the night before the space opened. The shop, which officially welcomed visitors this morning, triggered the kind of mass hysteria Supreme drops were liable to cause before the recently enacted ticketing policy.
One might think that several hours worth of line-waiting wouldn’t require one's best Yeezy-dedicated livery, but alas, Kanye fans, while admittedly overzealous, are also a rather style-conscious bunch. Perhaps that’s why the hundreds who lined up to cop the latest gear came dressed to the nines in all of their favorite brands.
Basically, some people treat lines as an excuse to wear sweatpants, white tees, and slides, and some people treat lines as an opportunity to attempt to show the fuck out. I think we know which crowd we’re dealing with here… Take a glance through the gallery above to see how fans combined their YEEZY gear with other streetwear pieces of the moment.
Curious what went down at London’s Supreme drop? Find out what people woreahead.
